The ENJOI final event in Bologna, November 16
In the past three years, the European project ENJOI explored and tested engagement as a key asset of innovation in science communication distributed via media platforms, with a strong focus on journalism.
Now, it is time to wrap up the main project's results: the ENJOI Final Event "Engagement and journalism innovation for outstanding open science communication" will take place on November 16 in Bologna, the home city of the ENJOI's coordinator formicablu. We'll meet in the beautiful framework of Palazzo Papoli, The Museum of the History of Bologna, from 2 pm to 6.30 pm.
The ENJOI results
During the ENJOI Final Event in Bologna, we'll present and discuss the main project's outcomes:
- The ENJOI set of Standard, Principles and Indicators (SPIs) of high-quality science communication and journalism.
- The ENJOI Manifesto for an Outstanding Open Science Communication
- The ENJOI Observatory for an Outstanding Open Science Communication
- The ENJOI co-creation process and methodology developed for the Engagement Workshops and Labs in 4 countries (Italy, Spain, Portugal, Belgium)

- What's next: the COALESCE project
ENJOI’s ultimate goal was to reflect on how to improve science communication and science journalism by making them more consistently reliable, truthful, open, and engaging. With the same participatory approach promoted during the project, we'll discuss the ENJOI's take-home messages and future steps.
